Demachi Futaba

Demachi Futaba (出町ふたば)

"Demachi Futaba" is a Japanese confectionery shop located a few minutes walk from Demachiyanagi Station, is a popular shop where people line up every day. Famous is the famous mame-mochi. It is visited not only by locals but also by many tourists. The bean rice cake is salty and not too sweet, and the rice cake is chewy. The expiration date is within the day, so I recommend you to buy it and eat it as soon as possible. There is Kamogawa nearby, so it is good to eat it with tea at Kamogawa.

The beans in the bean cakes were large and firm and perfectly salted. The cherry blossom rice cake was also salty and the rice cake had the grainy texture of glutinous rice, which was also delicious.

Sometimes they're not crowded, so lucky time! When it is crowded, it is normal to line up like this.
