Kitano Tenmangu shrine(北野天満宮) is commonly known as “Tenjin-san” and “Kitano-san”, and has faith as a god of learning. In the spring, Baien is a famous place for autumn leaves and Momiji en garden is held by many people. On the 25th of each month, there is a fair day held byTenjin Market and called “Tenjin-san”, and the stalls stand up in the precinct, and light up on the night of the festival.

The cowshed on the grounds has disinfection and seemed to have corona protection.
Many ema (votive picture frames) are hung in the Ema Kakesho.
The Plum Blossom Festival is held every February.
This is a view of the Momiji-en in autumn. The autumn foliage is very beautiful!

[By Bus] Bus no. is 101 and 50. Get off at “Kitanotenmangu Mae” bus stop which is it very close.
