Kyoto Tower

Kyoto Tower is operated by Keihan Hotels & Resorts Corporation operated by Keihan group. The Kyoto central post office was transferred in 1953, and the use of the site after the transfer was examined, and then the tower opened in December 1964. That the building of the city and the thatched roof were made to be a wave, and the lighthouse which illuminated the town in Kyoto without the sea was made. The height of the building including the tower building is 131 meters and the highest building in Kyoto. In the building of the Kyoto Tower, there are a large bathroom, 3rd floor in the basement, a 1st floor is a tenant such as souvenir, 2f is an experience corner, and a restaurant hotel is over 3rd floor.

You can see the west side from the Kyoto Tower observatory and you can see Nishi Honganji in the distance.
You can see the east side from the Kyoto Tower observatory. You can see Higashi Honganji below.
