Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama

Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama

Arashiyama Monkey Park, located just near Arashiyama Togetsu-kyo Bridge, is a theme park where about 120 Japanese monkeys live in the wild in the mountains. It is a light hiking trail that takes about 20 to 30 minutes to the top of the mountain, so it is recommended for those who are confident in their physical strength and those who like to walk. You will walk in the mountains, so you need shoes that are easy to walk in. The rest area on the top of the mountain has a great view of the city of Kyoto. In addition, monkey bait is sold in the building at the top of the mountain and you can feed them.

To get to the top of the mountain, you need to walk for about 30 minutes on a road such as stairs or hiking road.
You can see the whole city of Kyoto from the top of the mountain and it is very comfortable.
This is in a hut on the top of the mountain. Monkeys are clinging to each other in search of food.
